September has been an unusual month for INFOPRO. Within a few weeks, our work received two recognitions from two very different industry platforms. At the WITSA Global AI Awards 2026 in Taipei, INFOPRO was named the winner of the inaugural WITSA Global AI Award for Data 2026 <\/strong>for our SYNERGi Credit Intelligence Platform. Back in Malaysia, we received the Artificial Intelligence \u2013 Digital Banking<\/strong> award at the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards 2026.<\/p>

\"AI<\/p>

\u201cThe WITSA Global AI Awards are WITSA’s inaugural global recognition dedicated to responsible, impactful, and scalable AI, recognizing organizations advancing AI across seven pillars of AI excellence, including Data, Use Cases, Infrastructure, Talent, Public Policy and Investments. For INFOPRO, the recognition came under the Data pillar for SYNERGi Credit Intelligence Suite.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

Banking is one of the most highly regulated industries, with regulatory and governance requirements varying across jurisdictions. That is why SYNERGi is built with comprehensive AI governance capabilities, helping financial institutions manage AI responsibly and confidently as they scale across markets.<\/p>

This recognition is particularly meaningful in the context of credit lending, where data sits at the centre of documentation, assessment, decision-making and portfolio management. The quality and governance of that data have a direct bearing on how intelligence can be applied within the lending business. SYNERGi Credit Intelligence is a suite of intelligent capabilities designed specifically to optimise the credit lending business.<\/p>

\u201cThe second recognition came at the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards 2026, where INFOPRO received the Artificial Intelligence \u2013 Digital Banking award.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>

Presented by PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia, the award recognises our work in harnessing AI in digital banking, empowering financial institutions to enhance their services and grow their business. PIKOM’s recognition places the work firmly within the digital banking environment that INFOPRO has been part of for four decades. It reflects the application of technology within an industry where new capabilities must work alongside established banking systems, processes, regulations and commercial priorities.<\/p>

WITSA recognised SYNERGi’s contribution under its global Data pillar, within a programme focused on responsible, impactful and scalable AI. PIKOM recognised INFOPRO’s work specifically within Artificial Intelligence \u2013 Digital Banking.<\/p>

Where the Two Come Together: SYNERGi Credit Intelligence<\/h2>

    Designed for the Systems Banks Already Have<\/h2>

    One consideration becomes very practical when technology moves from a demonstration into a banking environment: existing infrastructure. Financial institutions have invested heavily in their core systems, lending platforms, data environments and operational processes. Those investments continue to matter.<\/p>
